Since 1989, we’ve been helping families enjoy handcrafted, Amish made furniture. See why Amish furniture is a better quality & value than imported furniture from the standard furniture and big box stores.
The Craftsmanship of Amish Furniture
Your Mennonite and Amish furniture are crafted from solid hardwoods. Each board used tells a story. The unique grain pattern and texture makes your piece one-of-a-kind. Country Lane Furniture takes pride in honoring the craftsmanship of true furniture making, an art practically lost in today’s world of synthetic materials and mass-production. All one needs to do is see what happens to poor quality furniture, is view the landfills of garbage growing skyward in many areas of our beautiful country.
Hardwood Furniture Your Family Will Enjoy
Our aim is to provide you with every day user-friendly solid wood handcrafted furniture that reflects your style and tastes. Our furniture is designed to last for decades, so you can hand it down from generation to generation. And our goal is to provide all this at a reasonable price.
Locally Harvested Hardwoods
Our local hardwoods are select harvested using best forest practices. This cuts out shipping expense and unneeded energy consumption and promotes our local economy, not to mention we can better know what practices are used in select harvesting of the timber.
If you like the trending style of live edge furniture, our hand selected slabs will make the perfect tabletop, desktop, headboard, sofa server, occasional tables, wall shelves, fireplace mantle, island top, and more.
Premium Quality Custom Furniture
There are many finishes for you to choose from in customizing your furniture, including two-tone in paint and stain, paint combinations, stain combinations, semi-gloss, flat sheen, hand planed, and distressing. Most every item is available unfinished if you care to finish it yourself. We DO NOT sell particleboard or “assemble-it-yourself-out-of-a-box” imported furniture.
Attention to Detail
Quality craftsmanship means attention to details. Many of our items (such as the dining and kitchen furniture) are fit to 1/5,000th of an inch. Screws and brad nails are used, along with gluing at various areas such as in the finger jointed areas. This is what sets Country Lane Furniture products apart from the rest. Our attention to detail and solid structure without cutting corners defines the quality of our handmade Amish furniture.
Expand Your Collection Later
When you shop at some Amish furniture stores in PA, the quality may not be guaranteed. The styles may be discontinued, making it difficult to add pieces to your collection in the future. At Country Lane Furniture, our classic styling and handcrafting ensures you’ll be able to add beautiful pieces of matching furniture to your collection at any time. We keep record of your furniture, so when you want to add another piece, you can match the exact stain, color, and style in 5, 10, or even 20 years from now.
